Applying a New Brand Identity Across Print, Merchandise AND Tradeshow Booths
introduction
EclecticIQ, a cybersecurity startup company originally contacted me to re-design several outdated online case studies and whitepapers following their recent rebranding as well as providing graphic designs for their upcoming tradeshow booths and custom merchandise.
Project statement
The Client wants the graphics and illustrations to reflect the company’s values and professional tone, envisioning a sleek and modern design feel that is not too corporate but also not too early stage startup.
EclecticIQ ONLINE White Paper Design
I designed new graphics based on the unique shapes from their logo to create various background illustrations that provide a visually pleasing journey for the reader while also not taking away from the copy content.
For the illustration covers I was given a free reign on the designs so long as they could provide a visual cue to the titles of the whitepapers and the content within.
ECLECTICIQ TRADE SHOW BOOTH DESIGNS
The company had several upcoming expositions to attend and tasked me with creating their tradeshow booth designs in time for the events. I was also asked to find and supply them with booth materials that were easy to assemble/disassemble so that they could be repurposed in the future.
There was a strong emphasis on the design for the rollup banners to clearly provide key information on EclecticIQ’s selling points while also having the right layout and color balance for an aesthetically pleasing feel and look.
I went on to create and deliver three booths designs for three different tradeshows; The first was a 3X3 Textile Display composed of lightweight foldable aluminum tubes, easy to setup and transport. The second booth design delivered was for a 3×2.5 magnetic pop-up display that can be stored in a carrying case which could also be used as counter. The final booth was designed based on the dimensions provided by the event organizers which featured a L-shaped display.
Once the designs had been approved, I took care of logistics in supplying them on time for each event, leasing with suppliers and organizing their delivery to their respectable destinations (Netherlands, UK, Singapore, Denmark and USA) which were all delivered on time for each event and/or office branch.
ECLECTICIQ MERCHANDISE dESIGN AND supply
Beyond designing and delivering the booths for the various events, I was also asked to provide custom designed merchandise and finding a supplier that could deliver the requested items that were selected, providing a wide selection of different merch and letting the client decide what they wanted.
The merchandise included; Stickers, Water Bottles, Notepads, Pens, Tech Organizers and Power Banks.
Other items that I designed involved prints; Business cards, small flyers and an foldable information leaflet.
The information leaflet was particularly challenging due to the large amount of information that needed to be in it and the limited space to creating an easy on the eye layout. This was achieved through a careful balance of font sizes and column distribution.
eclecticiq LINKEDIN cYBERSECURITY CAMPAIGN
This Linkedin Campaign was designed for the 2025 October Cybersecurity Awareness month.
The goal was to each week provide infographic posts to raise awareness on keeping safe online by identifying the different types of scams and security risks that are prevalent in the digital space.
For this I used the main colors found in the style guide and designed the icons/illustrations that best represent the copy content provided.
I tried to keep consistency within the design and layout to provide a natural flow between each posts.
